Use the charts
View, print, photocopy, download and hand out the charts and sheets on this site, for personal, classroom or commercial work. No permission, no attribution requirement, no fee. Instructors may print class sets and put sheets on the wall.
What is not open is wholesale republication as your own reference site: scraping the tables to rebuild this catalogue elsewhere. The charts exist to be used, not to be re-hosted stripped of the sources that make them worth trusting.
What these charts are
General reference tables, each naming the published standard or definition its columns come from and the date it was last checked. Where a figure is derived from a definition rather than transcribed, the page says so.
What they are not a substitute for
The specification for the thing in front of you. A torque figure for a class of fastener is not the figure for a particular joint; an ampacity from a table is not the ampacity of a particular installation. Where the manufacturer's instructions, the engineering drawing, or the applicable code gives a figure for your specific case, that figure governs, not this site.
This is a scope statement, not a shrug. The numbers here are checked and the sources are named so you can check them too. But no reference sheet can know the conditions of your assembly, and the ones that imply otherwise are the reason this project bothers to print conditions next to every figure.
Errors
Charts are checked before publication and re-checked on a working schedule, and errors still happen. If you find a figure that disagrees with the standard it cites, write to info@workshopcharts.com. It gets checked ahead of new work, and corrections change the checked date on the page.
Liability
The site is provided as-is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, the project is not liable for loss arising from use of these charts. Applying a figure to real work stays a professional judgement, and where safety or code compliance depends on it, verify against the standard or the specification for that job.
Availability
Free with no accounts and no rate limits, and no guarantee of uptime. The sheets are ordinary PDF and PNG files, so downloading the one you rely on is a reasonable thing to do.
Changes
These terms may change; the date above moves when they do. Material changes will be described rather than quietly swapped in.
